KODAK Kiosk Connect review

Review Standarts
Our main goal is to provide full and useful app reviews. Our authors strictly follow the rules: minimum 15 hours of the real app usage experience or gameplay, test on main Android and iOS versions, test on phones and tablets.

But, apart from that, the app is also used to share photographs between devices such as, from mobile to PC or mobile to mobile quickly. The app is a convenient way to have all your memories together in a physical form than rather on your device. Through the KODAK Kiosk Connect app, you can even search for a location near you that has the kiosk and is available for printing. Once found, you can easily connect your device to the kiosk using either Wi-Fi or by scanning the kiosk’s QR code. Some of the latest locations include CVS and Bartell Drugs in the United States, Tesco, Boots, and KODAK Express Stores in the United Kingdom, and Officeworks in Australia. The KODAK Kiosk Connect app works quite accurate and once connected, delivers some of finest photographic prints.

Usability 10/10

Making the KODAK Kiosk Connect app easy to use was the company's number one priority and they kept to it. From launching the app to receiving the printed copies, the app delivers a high-quality performance. Given the fact that the KODAK Kiosk Connect app is remarkably simple to use, it is no surprise that school kids are using the app to print their homework or project file content easily. The controls for the app are basic and require a few taps to select the photographs and send them for printing. The time it takes to receive the completed copies is also quite astonishing as it takes no more than a minute to produce crisp and bright photos wirelessly from your smartphone.

Cross-Platform Use 9/10

KODAK Kiosk Connect is available for Android as well as iOS users and is supported on all current devices. It is not compatible, however, with devices that do not have a Wi-Fi option.

The Verdict

For those users who love making memories and sharing them with friends and family, the KODAK Kiosk Connect app is perfect. Forget about your virtual gallery when you can have a physical one instead. The app produces crisp, sharp, and beautiful photographs that are printed quickly. With its easy to use controls and minimalist design structure, the KODAK Kiosk Connect app is one of the best ways to have your memories in a printed photograph.

If you are a person who enjoys photography, the KODAK Kiosk Connect app is ideal for you. Watch you shots come to life in physical form and create albums of your memories easily with this wonderful app.

  • I got installed this Kodak Kiosk app for Android immediately when I saw a printer in my local Bartell Drugs store. I thought that all photo printing kiosks have vanished due to digital cameras and only specialized printing services left. I'm glad I was wrong. I printed almost 50 photos that day and planning to make more. The process is simple as described in the review above: download the app, hook it up with printing station, choose photos you want to be printed, done. That's all.

    • I was glad to find a Kodak kiosk in a local Tesco store too. They still exist! Now I don't need to annoy my friends to print some photos of mine. The review says it's easy to use, and that's true, I can prove that. My 7 year-old daughter loves using Kodak Connect Kiosk app, she already has her own photo album. I also love that feature that allows connecting devices without wifi. That's really handy for people like me who still own some "vintage" devices with photos.

  • Thanks for covering this, Todd. I have Kodak Kiosk Connect app iPhone edition and I all can say that's the best app for a quick print. Locating the nearest store and sending images from iPhone 6 and iPad to printing station is easy as duck soup. It even supports iPod! I love that printed images are high-quality and full sized. I also love that interface is simple and allows you to save images you have uploaded for further use if you want to print more copies or change the size of the photo. Too bad that Kodak removed several in-store printers in my area, for me that's the only option to print my photos.

    • Wow, thanks to this review now I know what those kiosks are. I've seen those before but was too shy to ask store associates ;) I installed this Kodak Kiosk Connect app free on every device I have, I used to make lots of photos a while ago. Developers did the right thing when they decided to make the app compatible with old devices. That saved me from headache when I finally managed to extract and print photos from my almost dead iPod, it wasn't easy though.

  • Nice review. I have used the Kodak Kiosk Connect app a few times and every time I had a different device. Just once my iPad froze up during installation, but the store associate helped me out quickly with the (the problem was in my iOS version). Controls are basic indeed. I'm not a very experienced gadget user, using my iPad mostly for messengers and photography, but I had no trouble in using this app overall, installing and connecting to kiosk was simple and quick.

  • Hello, Todd. Thanks both for the review and the link for free Kodak Kiosk Connect app. I had an older version on my old iPad but it refused to install patches and eventually stopped working at all. I installed the version you were reviewing and it works perfectly. I have nothing against digital photos, but having a real physical image on your wall still has value to me. Compare it to reading an e-book and having a real one on your bookshelf. For me it's everything.

  • I have been using this Kodak Kiosk Connect app since it was released in 2013. I was wondering about those express kiosks which have appeared in local stores that year. Later I discovered that those are for printing photos from smartphones and tablets, very convenient indeed. I make photos mostly with my old Samsung s7 Edge, but they look great in a printed version. Thanks to this app I have a nice collection of photo albums filled with photos from my travels.
